Every bag of Gelato Marcello mix that reaches your machine has gone through a closed, multi-stage production process designed to ensure that every batch is perfect and consistent. The same flavour, the same texture, the same reliability. Every time.

From raw materials to the finished product. Complete control at every stage:

Every ingredient entering production is weighed at dedicated laminar airflow workstations that protect it from contamination. Each raw material is assigned a batch number and a Certificate of Analysis (CoA). Nothing enters the mixer without verification.

Flavourings, sweeteners and other low-percentage ingredients are first prepared separately as a premix. This ensures even distribution throughout the blend and eliminates the risk of one bag tasting different from another.

Depending on the product type, we use different mixers and blending systems selected to achieve maximum powder uniformity. We control mixing time, rotation speed and ingredient dosing sequences. This is not guesswork - it is a process governed by precise parameters and documented procedures.

The powder is transferred between production stages using a vacuum system, without exposure to air or the surrounding environment. This eliminates dust emissions, material losses and the risk of cross-contamination between different products.

Product filling is carried out using precise auger or weighing systems, ensuring that every package contains the exact same weight regardless of powder density. At the same time, quality checks are performed on product uniformity, fill weight and physicochemical parameters.

After every production run, the line undergoes a sanitation procedure and cleaning validation process to confirm the absence of residues from previous products. This is particularly important when different formulations are produced on the same line.

Every production batch is sent to an accredited external laboratory, where its full physicochemical and microbiological parameters are independently tested. No product is released for sale until the test results have been received and approved.

Nothing is left to chance. Every batch is produced according to strictly defined procedures, and every stage is fully traceable and auditable.

ISO 22000 requires complete consistency between what we declare and what is actually inside the package. If a bag states "high in protein", "glucose syrup free" or "free from hydrogenated fats", it is not a marketing claim - it is a fact supported by documentation and verified through independent audits.

It is one of the world's most demanding food safety certification systems, recognised by GFSI and required by leading global retail chains and FMCG corporations when sourcing food products.

In the ice cream mix industry, FSSC 22000 is exceptionally rare. That is not modesty - it is a fact you can verify yourself. Holding this certification means we meet the standards required by major brands, importers and international distributors. It is not a certificate for companies thinking only about the next season.

Halal certification confirms that both the product and its manufacturing process fully comply with the strict hygiene and dietary requirements observed in Muslim countries. It opens the door to international customers, particularly visitors from Arab countries, who can choose these products with complete confidence. In practice, it means a more accessible offer and greater readiness to serve a global customer base.

Kosher certification means that the product is manufactured under continuous independent supervision according to highly stringent standards. It provides assurance of consistency, process integrity and complete control over ingredients and formulation.
